How do I make a reservation at On The House?

You can make a booking at our budget homestay in Delhi through our reservations page on the website and fill in your details. We will get back to you with an email reply within 24 hours.

Is it necessary to call ahead to confirm a reservation?

We always confirm your reservation through email, in case you have received our confirmation email then you need not call us, your booking is confirmed. If you wish to make any changes or need to specify anything with reference to your stay then please email us. We are a homestay in Delhi and we will reply to you within 12 hours of receipt of email.

What are the documents that are required during check-in?

On The House is a homestay in Delhi and we require to maintain records of our guests for statutory reasons. You will have to submit a copy of your passport if you are a foreign national; if you are an Indian national a copy of any photo ID like your passport or Aadhaar Card can be submitted.

How can I cancel my booking?

Cancellation at our budget homestay in Delhi can be easily done through an email. You can reply on the confirmation email we sent you, with your cancellation request. We have a cancellation and refund policy, please check it up here.

Can more than two adults stay in one room?

A standard booking at On The House is for two people only, however you can book for an extra person with an additional charge. On The House is a comfortable homestay in Delhi and has different rooms. Please check here if the room you have booked can accommodate an extra person.

Our children are traveling with us; can they be accommodated for free?

 We are child-friendly homestay in Delhi and welcome guests to bring their children. Children up to the age of 8 can be accommodated free of charge, however older children have to be accounted as extra persons.

My flight arrives late in the night, how do I check in?

We are used to guests checking at all hours as most international nights come in late in the night. Let us know your arrival time in advance and one of our caretakers at the homestay in Delhi will be waiting for you. In case you miss to do so, we have a security guard at the gate who will inform the caretaker who will check you in. You can rest and complete the check-in formalities the next morning at breakfast time.

As my flight arrives late at night, I wish to wake up later. Can I get my breakfast when I wake up?

We understand your concern and the need to get a restful sleep after a long and tiring flight. We will serve you breakfast whenever you wake up, even if it’s past the normal breakfast timings at our homestay in Delhi.

Do you have a Front Desk or Concierge?

On The House is a budget homestay in Delhi and the Government of Delhi does not allow such establishments to have a front desk. This is to differentiate from the regular hotels.

Do you have any medical facilities available?

The homestay in Delhi is located in close proximity to Aashok Hospital, where you can consult with specialist doctors through the week. There are also several pharmacies where you can find your prescription medicines easily. There are many good reputed dentists who have clinics in the area and you can get some dental work that is due, you can end up saving a lot of money!

What are the different modes of payment at On The House?

On The House is a homestay in Delhi and we accept Credit Cards, PayPal and Bank Transfer payment. You can use these methods for advance payment at reservation; once you reach the homestay you can also make the rest of payment in Cash apart from the other modes of payment.

I still haven’t received my refund amount.

Once you cancel your booking with On The House you will receive the refund by Bank Transfer within 15 working days. If you still haven’t received the refund, please email us with your booking details and we will look into it.

Do you serve alcohol at On The House?

On The House is a budget homestay in Delhi and we abide by the Govt Rules for specialty lodging. We are not allowed to serve liquor/alcohol on our premises.

I want to go sightseeing in Delhi, can you advise me?
